Frequently Asked Questions

 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF TREATMENT AND PROSTHETIC TEETH ABROAD?

The quality of treatment is not related to the country of treatment. Our clinic guarantees that it works carefully and attentively with high-tech devices and the guarantee that will be given to you in writing after your treatments includes a lifetime guarantee for implant treatments and a 5-year guarantee for all other treatments (inlay, impressed lamina, metal-supported porcelain, zirconium, removable prosthesis).

WHO CAN I CONSULT WHEN I RETURN TO MY COUNTRY AFTER TREATMENT?

We complete your treatment, do all the controls and send you to your country so that you do not have any problems with your teeth. In addition, we provide a lifetime warranty for implants and a 5-year warranty for porcelain treatments. However, we kindly ask you to call us first so that we can help you and guide you when you have a slight problem or have a question in mind, whether within or outside the warranty period.

WHAT IS AN IMPLANT?

In modern dentistry, implants are used in the absence of one or more teeth. Implants fulfil the function of the missing tooth root. In this way, all the functions of the real tooth are fulfilled in the best way with the porcelain to be made. In addition, as in the process of completing the missing teeth by making a porcelain bridge, the intact teeth on both sides of the gap are not abraded and untouched and the integrity of the teeth is preserved. Since dental functions will continue in the implant area, bone resorption in that area is stopped.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR IMPLANT APPLICATIONS?

Implants can be applied at any age. However, it can be decided after the examination whether the jaw bone is sufficient or not. The amount of jawbone, bone quality, existing teeth in the mouth are effective in this decision

WHEN CAN I FULLY USE MY IMPLANTS?

After a comprehensive examination, your physician decides which type of implant will be suitable for you. In some cases, porcelain tooth and implant can be applied on the same day. The tooth can be started to be used that day. In some cases, osseointegration (bone fusion in the implant) is expected between two and six months. After osseointegration is completed, the porcelain tooth can be placed on the implant.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF IMPLANTS AND WHAT IS THE LIFESPAN OF IMPLANTS?

Implants made in accordance with the rules do not have any side effects. The implant material is a non-allergenic and tissue compatible material. Depending on the structure of the jawbone and post-treatment care, it has a lifespan of at least 15 to 25 years or lifetime.

I HAVE DIABETES OR HEART DISEASE, CAN I STILL HAVE AN IMPLANT?

If your disease is under control and under the supervision of a doctor, no disease is an obstacle for implants.

LAMINATES ARE MADE OF VERY THIN PORCELAIN, BUT ARE THEY STRONG ENOUGH?

Although laminates (veneers) are made of very thin porcelain, they can be bonded to the tooth with a special bonding system and after bonding, they are at least as strong as your own tooth. Under normal conditions, it is not possible for the laminates to come out of the tooth or break after bonding. If a problem occurs in the tooth after bonding the laminate, the lamina can be cleaned by abrasion like the tooth and if necessary, a filling or a lamina can be made in that area.
